Job vacancy Compliance Lead | Mumbai | 10 + years

Our client is the Real Estate vertical of a leading Indian conglomerate

* Assist the functional teams in adhering to all the statutory and regulatory requirements and monitor their compliance
performance.
* Prepare & manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPsSOPs) and other related documentation
* Provide technical guidance to users, administrators, management, auditors, external parties etc. as required and resolve
critical issues
* Implement internal monitoring & control systems to ensure adherence to the compliance framework
* Publish monthly compliance report to leadership showing compliance status of submissions and approvals done in
the tool; proactively identify & highlight risk areas with proposed solutions for risk mitigation
* Assess the impact of amendment/guidelines/new laws along with the functions and necessary changes are done in the
compliance tool along with the functions
* Conduct risk based assessments on processes in order to better determine areas of focus for internal controls.
Evaluating the design effectiveness of internal control processes.
* Conduct compliance testing of areas that pose high regulatory risks
* Publish stress testing report along with observations and remediation plan. Follow up with users on remediation plan
and provide assistance (if required)
* Identifying and working on new areas of compliances

You should be either a CS or LLB with at-least 10 years of experience handling compliances including labour law compliance and compliance tools. Exposure to RERA Compliances would be ideal. You should have good communication and stakeholder management skills
