About Sikkim State Lottery

The State Government is actively engaged in generating revenue to support various developmental initiatives and social causes. To achieve this objective, the government conducts, organizes, and promotes State lotteries. The process involves appointing Marketing Agents/Distributors through a national-level tender, adhering to the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998 (Central Act 17 (a) 1998) and its associated rules.

Currently, the State Government of Sikkim oversees 24 lotteries, consisting of 8 paper lotteries and 16 online lotteries. Three Marketing Agents/Distributors have been appointed for the effective promotion and management of these lotteries, as per the guidelines outlined in rule 3(vi) of the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010.

In addition to lotteries, the Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries also administers casinos, online games, and sports games.

Sikkim State Lottery Claiming Prizes

Successful Sikkim State Lottery participants should take note: claiming your prize requires presenting the original winning ticket, free from damage or tampering, along with a duly completed claim form. Additionally, government-issued photo identification and passport-size photographs are mandatory. For prizes exceeding 10,000, kindly proceed to the Sikkim Office with the aforementioned documents.
