Job vacancy Legal Counsel- Fintech | Mumbai/Bangalore

Our client is a leading Fintech player with operations across India

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts and other legal documents and handling legal matters in an organization in the BFSI or payments sector.
• To analyze and strategize complex commercial deals along with corporate development teams while advising on the appropriate legally compliant structure.
• Posess In depth knowledge and understanding of corporate and financial law and procedures with a focus on the fintech/payments space
• Assess scope of work, business processes, service levels, commercial and legal aspects of contracts for potential exposure to liability risks arising from use of proprietary data, trademarks, IP, data security and non-standard terms and conditions.
• Provide accurate and timely, high quality legal advice to business teams and senior executives on a variety of legal matters balancing risks with commercially viable solutions
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on potential legal issues keeping in mind business interests.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties include banking partners, merchants, external counsel, public authorities.
• PPI/PA/ Banking experience would be preferable

You must be an LLB graduate with at-least ten years of experience having worked on commercial contracts and transactions ideally in the Fintech and Payments sector
