Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti was started in view of the pitiful condition of cows. Due to the tireless efforts of Shri Raghav ji, this ashram has become so big and expanded today. The establishment of Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti was fully started in 2012. Earlier, 21 disabled, injured, and sick mother cows were kept in this ashram. Shri Raghav Gaudham Samiti got a big result from the service of those mother cows. He moved their caravan forward, and today more than 1000 cows live here. And everything, from their care to their food and medicine, is taken care of. Although Shri Raghav Gaudham Samiti is considered to have started before 2012, earlier, one or two cows were served here every day. Mother cows are worshiped in Shri Raghav Govardhan Gaushala Samiti. Their only objective is to serve the cows, feed the sadhus, saints, and every needy person so that no one remains hungry. It is said that by serving cows, all the sorrows, pain, and problems of a person go away. The cow has a special place in Hinduism, and it is believed that all gods reside in her body. Feeding a cow with green fodder is considered one of the Maha Daans that is powerful enough to remove all the Grah Doshas, or troubles arising from the malefic effects of the planets.
