West Bengal State Lottery Directorate - Kolkata

The establishment of the Directorate of State Lotteries took place in 1968, aiming to conduct lottery draws and generate revenue for the government exchequer. Operating under the Finance (Revenue) Department of the Government of West Bengal, the Directorate extends its lottery expertise to oversee draws for various purposes, including the distribution of plots of land, shops of Municipal Bodies, undertakings, and other government wings. Additionally, it conducts lottery draws for admission to Class-I in Government/Government-sponsored Primary Schools and similar initiatives.
