Chains, Hooks, O and Delta rings
Chains, Forged Hooks, D rings Chains Our transport chain is designed for cargo tie down. It provides an average of 20% higher load rating than High Test chain (s-4). The higher strength per pound of our chains allows for reduced weight and easier handling and storage. Load binders can be used in conjunction with chains to aid in proper tie down of cargo. It meets Federal D.O.T., CVSA, and CHP requirements. Packaged in metal drums, each drum contains 400-feet or 550-feet depending on the thickness of 3/8” to 5/16”. Safety working load: The maximum load a tie-down should be subject to during normal use. Safe working load should not exceed 1/3 of the rated capacity. Rated capacity: The minimum load a complete assembly will withstand before failure in a laboratory setting when the product is new. Forged Hooks Forged hooks provide a higher breaking strength limit and durability. Our zinc plated forged hooks are treated to prevent rust and are lightweight. Forged hooks can be used in conjunction with ratchet buckles, chains, D-rings, winches, and sewn loops. Delta Ring Delta rings allow straps to be pulled without risking damage to the webbing. Our forged delta rings are coated yellow chrome and are sized to accommodate 3” and 4” straps. Capacity for the 3” ring is 18000 Lbs and the 4” ring is 20000 Lbs.
