It is a chemically modified starch designed to impart enhanced functional properties including adhesion/binding, water retention, rheology and viscosity and to allow it to function properly under conditions frequently encountered during processing and storage, such as high heat, high shear, and low pH. It comes in a variety of viscosities to meet the needs of diverse applications and end-user requirements.

It can be tailor-made to meet the requirements of the end users by changing reaction condition (Temp, pH, additives) and strict process control.
