Tentative day by day itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival to Phunsholing
Activities for today: Representatives from Amedewa Tours & Trek will receive you with “Tashi Khada”, traditional way of receiving our guest.)
Transfer to Phunsholing, around 5 hours drive and halt at phunsholing.
Day 2
Drive to Thimphu
Activities for today: We will then take a scenic drive up to Buddha Point in the Kuenselphodrang to see the 169-foot-tall bronze statue of the seated Buddha Dordenma. One of the largest sitting Buddha statues in the world, it sits atop a hill where you will see sweeping views of the valley and surrounding mountains.
Thimphu Tashichho Dzong, a traditional fortress and Buddhist Monastery, is the largest in the city. Featuring distinctive Bhutanese architecture, using neither nails nor written plans, the structure serves as the current seat of the King of Bhutan.
Halt at the Hotel/Resort in Thimphu.
Day 3 Thimphu / Paro
Activities for today:
Drive back to Paro and start today's tour with Paro Dzong. Later visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watchtower housing the National Museum, with abundant culture relics. Next go to Kyichu
Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, OR Skip this and drive to Chelela Pass, Highest motorable road end in Bhutan.
Day 4 Tiger’s nest hike
Activities for today: Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest)
This morning, hike to visit Taktsang (Tiger's Nest), be amazed by the view of this sacred temple
hanging on the rocky cliff, and take in the beauty of Paro valley.
After, if time permits, stroll Paro town.
If interested visit Hotstone bath and relax.
Try Archery if interested in Paro.
Halt at Hotel in Paro
Day 5 Paro / Exit
Activities for today: Transfer to Phunsholing
Today drop back to Paro airport and we bid farewell to our valued clients.
