Job vacancy ESG and Sustainability Lead | Mumbai

Our client is India's leading company into sustainable solutions and manufacturing. They are looking to hire an experienced professional to lead their ESG - Sustainability function.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for:

• Develop an ESG framework and methodology that is commensurate with the nature of our business
• Help seed a culture within the organization where decision making includes an assessment on ESG parameters
• Partner with internal teams to streamline operations and business processes
• Prepare thematic and progress reports
• Front end communication with external stakeholders

• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in providing advisory services and implementation expertise in ESG / Sustainability related topics
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, or a related technical subject area would be desirable
• Understanding of ESG linked financial products will be beneficial
• Familiarity with various reporting frameworks, concepts and internationally prevalent ESG trends
• Should have very good communication skills
