Job vacancy Supplier Management Lead | Mumbai

Our client is a leading MNC in the business of architectural hardware and furniture fittings. They are looking to hire a Supplier Management Manager to strategically lead the association with different suppliers.

Reporting to the Director - Supply Chain, you will be responsible for:

• Sets performance objectives with assigned suppliers (cost reduction, lead time reduction, Quality improvement)
• Manage supplier development by liasoning with teams like manufacturing, sustainability and Quality
• Manage reviews for vendors and document the performance indicators
• Reviews and consolidates internal demand provided by the subsidiaries and arbitrates issues
• Selects target tools/products and conducts total cost of integration analysis at tool/product level,including Price, Lead Time, and Quality costs.
• Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks

Ideally you should have more than 8 years of experience. You should have done bachelors degree along with MBA in Supply Chain. You should have worked in vendor management roles for finished goods. You should have worked with international vendors with at least 70% international vendors in your portfolio. You are strategic thinker and result oriented individual. You possess excellent management and communication skills. You have an excellent work history and are open to new challenges.
