Iran Mavad Website started its activities as the first official site of specialized material engineering since the beginning of 2009 with the creation of a blog. Given the weak range of information, limited access to reference books, and a severe shortage of educational resources on the Persian Internet, the need to establish a Persian reference website to provide engineers and industry scientists with information on "engineering materials" seemed to be essential.
