SANDSTONE

Sandstone is a sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-size mineral or rock grains. Sandstone comes in many colors but the most common are brown, gray, tan, yellow, red, and white. Sandstone is weather resistant that makes sandstone a common building and paving material. Sandstone when laid as building stone gives one of the most magnificent look. Indian sandstone is suitable for domestic and commercial use. Owing to their natural beauty, sandstones are used for interior as well as exterior decoration including flooring, paving, cladding walls and floors. As the name suggests, Sandstone is made of sand cemented by silica, iron, and lime.
