Zinc Borate Bml ZB – 2335 is a chemical substance that retains its water of hydration at temperature as high as 290°C making it highly useful in polymers requiring high processing temperatures. The chemical formula of Zinc Borate Bml ZB 2335 is 2ZnO3.B2O3.3.5H2O. It is available in fine white powder form in 10 micron and 20 micron grade. Further, it is virtually insoluble in water and has low toxicity. It is a cost effective substance that is used in various applications as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant and is found in paints, plastics, rubbers and PVC cables. It is also widely used in motor vehicle upholstery, tenting material, fabrics, carpets, wall coverings, textiles, conveyor belts and industrial gratings.
